SEOOCD

Well lets talk about movies do you have a favourite film or several.

‘SEOOCD’ ……. What is it?

I believe it’s someone who lives, breathes search engine optimisation. Talks about nothing else, feels the urge to check how their keywords are doing at random times. Fails to take holidays because they are tracking articles and blogs etc. I believe literally in several years there will be people in front of shrinks, saying ” If I can just check my iPhone, I just need to see how they are doing….”

I’m sure when we were kids we didn’t say when I grow up…..”I’m going to be in SEO…” Not that it existed, but if it had of done, we wouldn’t have wanted to would we??

The obvious is true, employ someone who appears to suffer from this condition for your marketting campaign and expect good results, a no brainer!

I kind of accidentally came up with the term whilst talking to a friend, when realising it seems to be all I’m really talking about these days… so is “SEOOCD” a condition who knows? If it is I can only say it would be the only OCD that had positive consequences, in being highly beneficial to clients.

So my final question to you is who are we SEO people, now consumed by the latest techniques and algorithms? Lets talk about something else, lets become better people, maybe do good things who knows?

I’m sure the majority of us are creative, let’s see what else we are good at… So if you want to talk about anything else other than SEO and you are involved in SEO maybe you’d like to write something here….
